Rehome

We have horses of all shapes and sizes in need of new, loving homes – either to be ridden or as companion horses.

Each horse is checked every 6 - 12 months for the duration of the loan. As this is a very costly task we regret that as a rough guide we are unable to re-home a horse, pony or donkey more than an hour and a half drive from Bristol. The map above shows an outline of the area we cover however if you are in any doubt please email to check before proceeding with your application.

Please note that the majority of the horses we help have some sort of problem as a result of their past, so you are unlikely to find that absolutely "perfect" animal.

However, we do have some fantastic and loving animals here – and we ensure prospective new loaners are briefed fully and a management regime in place for any ongoing health issues our horses may have before they leave for their new home.

And when the horses are rehomed, we are at hand to ensure the continued welfare of each animal and to provide any advice needed by their new loaners.

If you would like to provide a new home for a HorseWorld equine, you need to have experience of keeping horses before and be ready for the financial and time commitment of keeping a horse for the rest of its life.

Please note too, that horses are social animals and should not be kept alone without equine companions.

All riding horses and ponies that we have available for re-homing are listed here on our website but only a selection of non-ridden companion horses and ponies are featured. Please send in an application form with your ‘Companion’ requirements and we will then contact you to discuss if we have anything suitable for you.
