Meet Tilly

 The wonderful Tilly arrived at HorseWorld in June 2022. Her world had been turned upside down after the death of her owner, followed by the passing of her equine companion. As expected, Tilly was very withdrawn and quiet on arrival. It took some time for her to overcome her grief, but with lots of TLC from humans and equines, she soon settled and has blossomed into the loveable girl she is.  

Tilly lives onsite within our donkey herd; she is extremely intelligent and takes a great interest in the comings-and-goings around her.  

It's important to keep her mind and body active so she has plenty of space for foraging and play, along with enrichment activities to keep her happy. 

Likes: Anything that gets my brain working! I am very curious and playful with my donkey friends. I love herbal tea, it’s my favourite. 

Dislikes: I don’t like being alone. They say I’m cheeky with the vet – but I just like to do things *my* way!
