Monkey came to HorseWorld in June 2019 to help out with the Discovery programme. He has lots of handling and riding experience from his previous home, making him a real asset to the team. Monkey loves his work and enjoys interacting with all the young people.
Archie

Gender: Gelding
Archie arrived at HorseWorld in January 2013 as part of an RSPCA seizure. He was very underweight, neglected, and had terrible rain scald across his back. Once healthy, Archie was rehomed but returned in 2021 and joined the Discovery Team, he is a very sensitive horse who takes lots of reassurance from his handler, he loves working with the young people and the grooms.
Kira

Kira came to HorseWorld in January 2013, when she was seized by the RSPCA. She is a sweet but sassy mare. Kira is a much-loved member of the Discovery team and enjoys working with the students, Kira is our longest serving Discovery horse.

Lunar was born at HorseWorld in 2013 after her mum was rescued. Lunar was rehomed as a youngster to gain some experience and when she returned the staff thought Lunar would make an excellent Discovery pony. Today Lunar enjoys getting lots of attention from the Discovery students and doing the obstacle course.

Flower came to HorseWorld on loan to help with the Discovery programme. In her previous home Flower had done a bit of everything so she came to HorseWorld with a lot of knowledge and experience. Today Flower enjoys a quieter life on Discovery and likes being groomed.

Red came to HorseWorld on loan in 2018 to help with Discovery. Red is a huge asset to the team and a true gentleman. Red is a firm favourite with students and staff, he is high maintenance and likes to get his needs met!
Charlie

Gender: Gelding
Charlie was rescued in 2020 in terrible condition. He was suffering from a condition called laminitis and his hooves were very overgrown. It took Charlie many months to recover but once he did it was clear he would make an excellent Discovery pony. He is one of the smallest on the team but he has the biggest personality!

Beth arrived at HorseWorld in 2012 after being rescued with 9 other Shetlands. She is a sweet mare who has taken a long time to come out of her shell. Beth is one of the newest members of the team, she enjoys doing the obstacle course.
Flicka

Flicka arrived at HorseWorld in 2007 after her owner could no longer care for her. Flicka has lots of riding experience from being out on loan homes, she joined Discovery in 2018 when she was ready for a quieter life. Today she is semi-retired but still enjoys getting attention from the Discovery students.
Sox

Sox arrived at HorseWorld in 2013 in foal, she later gave birth to Ruby. Sox spent some time out on loan homes to get some life experience. She passed her Discovery training in 2024, she is a quiet sweet natured pony who enjoys getting lots of attention.
Tilly

Tilly came to HorseWorld in 2022 after her owner passed away and she lost her companion. Tilly is quiet and sensitive mare who takes time to come out of her shell. Tilly is at the start of her Discovery training, she loves the obstacles and rolling in the school.
Cowslip and Barnaby

Gender: Mare & Gelding
Cowslip came to HorseWorld due to overbreeding in the New Forest and Barnaby when his owner could no longer care for him. Donkeys are very closely bonded and must do everything together, they live with their best friend Tilly and also enjoy being groomed and rolling in the sand.
