Rescuing scores of horses who have suffered abandonment and neglect is an important part of HorseWorld’s work.
We work alongside other leading equine charities in this field.
Unlike agencies like the RSPCA, HorseWorld has no inspectorate powers but we can work in tandem with such charities – helping with rescues and rehoming.
Unfortunately, sometimes we encounter horrendous cases of mass abuse.
We are proud to be partners in these large-scale horse rescues, which are co-ordinated by the National Equine Welfare Council.
